My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend in Tenby, and we were very happy. The room was comfortable and clean, and the view of the South Beach from room 5 was splendid. It was a quiet place to stay, and we had a good night's sleep. Huw cooked a great breakfast, and also remembered our preferences. We enjoyed the daily specials. The Townhouse was only 5-10 minutes walk from anywhere worth visiting in Tenby, which was very convenient. The surrounding area is beautiful - each building being painted a different colour. We would thoroughly recommend The Townhouse!
Had a wonderful stay at The Townhouse. Our host, Hugh, was marvellous. A perfect mix of friendly, helpful and discreet. His property is lovely. It is a beautiful old townhouse (as the name suggests) and whilst it has some small areas that need a little attention, it is full of character and very homely. We booked a small double room on the top floor and were really surprised at how lovely it was and it had everything we could have possibly needed. The ensuite was beautiful. Hugh's breakfasts were absolutely gorgeous and his 'daily special' was a real treat. I wish we lived nearer, as I would regularly pop in just for breakfast if I could. Hugh thinks of everything and is very thoughtful with the little extra touches that he provides. Thank you so much Hugh, for an idyllic stay in your lovely home. We hope to return next year.
Stayed here for three nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Everywhere was spotlessly clean with views of South Beach which was just at the end of the street. The shower cubicle was a little bit small but the shower itself was great with lots of hot water. Beware the breakfasts, they are humongous but quality isn't sacrificed for quantity. My husband had the full breakfast whilst I had the specials. Mashed Avocado on toast with poached eggs the first day followed by eggs Benedict with the most delicious hollandaise sauce on the second day followed by pancakes with fresh fruit and cream and maple syrup on our last day. Huw is a great host. Nothing is too much trouble for him. We will be back.
Had a lovely 1 night stay at The Townhouse. Huw was pleasant and showed me to my room. It was a large and comfortable room great nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious. There is a big car park at the end of the road £10 for 24hrs
WOW! We were very impressed with our stay here. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the unit was only a short stroll to the centre of Tenby. The most amazing was the incredible breakfast cooked each morning by a very talented host Huw. His attention to detail was exceptional, providing a delicious spread of cereals, fruits and yoghurt followed by a massive cooked Welsh breakfast. Along with this he was friendly, engaging and happy to help without being overwhelming. The perfect butler. Loved our time here.
We stayed for 3 nights and we're delighted with both the bedroom and the en suite bathroom. The breakfast was nothing short of superb with high quality ingredients. Perhaps because it was out of season free parking was available 20m from the front door. It was no more than 5 minutes walk to reach the centre inside the town walls where there were numerous restaurants, bars and shops. The sea was a 100m walk from The Townhouse. Next time we are in Tenby The Townhouse will be our number one choice for our stay.
Had a really comfortable sleep the room was lovely, the smoked salmon and scramble eggs for breakfast was delicious .
